hey Reader, and welcome to the very first PROPER upstarts newsletter! we launched some supercool new features this week in upstarts. here goes... ‘launches’ we ‘launched’ ‘launches’, a way to launch updates for your product, product hunt styley, with upvotes and everything! check ins changed the ‘post’ button to ‘check in’s and made more of a big deal of daily streaks, which are now based 100% on whether you show up every day and post an update on what you’re working on. think of it like a short (140 characters or less) journal. polls i like polls, i know they’re so 2000s but they work and are easy to engage with, so there. ‘Unlock Distribution‘ added a service, where you get real exposure by hitting launch milestones. tech stack i want upstarts to be a learning experience for newbies too, so ive added a new tech stack directory and sidebar listing the tech stack for products (if builders choose to add this, its optional) fancy emojis lastly, we added x-style emojis with an emoji picker in the post box upstarts is on 🔥 i have to shout out to our builder of the week @developer (Dawedev) who launched 3 products on upstarts! below are links to their products:
