Apple just dropped iOS 18.2... and it affects Apple Mail.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Newsletters land in the Updates tab – like Gmail’s Promotions. Don’t panic; it’s where they belong. Let’s embrace it.
  • AI summaries replace pre-headers – goodbye clever hacks, hello strong subject lines and opening lines.
  • Clipped emails by default – shorter, text-first emails are the way forward.
